Gooey Chocolate Microwave Mug Cake with Caramel Sauce and Peanuts

No mixer, no oven, no cake stand — a decadent single serving of chocolate cake mixed, cooked, and served in a mug, with a molten caramel center.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in the mug.
  2. Add cream, oil, and 3 Tbsp water and mix until smooth.
  3. Using a spoon, make a well in the center; spoon half of the caramel sauce into the well.
  4. Microwave on high 60 seconds. Carefully remove.
  5. Top with ice cream (if desired), peanuts, and the remaining caramel sauce. Serve immediately.
